Thank you to all who entered our Make It Yours competition in November. It was a tough month for judging with a multitude of inspirational upcycles and transformation projects to choose from. However, with much deliberation we have chosen 10 runners up and our lucky top prizewinner.
The top prize this month of £250 went to Francesca Lawrence who ingeniously created bespoke centrepieces for her wedding using Rust-Oleum Metallic Bright Gold spray paint. She gave various plastic animals the Midas touch including a chicken, a flamingo, a chameleon and fox cake topper and 120 miniature unicorns. The outcome was amazing and brought a real personal touch to Francesca’s wedding decorations.
Lauren Thompson has added scandi chic to her newly decorated bedroom with Rust-Oleum Chalky Finish Furniture Paint in Chalk White. By watering down the paint and rubbing off any excess with a cloth, Lauren created a white wash effect panelled feature wall. To complete the look she also painted her bedside tables in Chalk White and waxed with Rust-Oleum Furniture Finishing Wax to protect.
Paulene Mcilrath skilfully painted her floor tiles using Rust-Oleum Chalky Finish Floor Paint and Rust-Oleum Chalky Finish Furniture Paint. With a mixture of custom made stencils and hand drawn patterns Paulene created a stag themed design for her hallway floor that is an instant update from the original terracotta tiles.

Using Rust-Oleum Chalky Finish Furniture Paint in Belgrave and a topcoat of Rust-Oleum Furniture Lacquer, Charles brought the design together and now loves showing off his new bathroom.
