This month we were overwhelmed with the amount of entries and greatly enjoyed looking at all of your upcycling projects and furniture transformations, it was certainly very tough to pick our favourites from so many great projects. But with much deliberation the ten runners up and our lucky top prizewinner have been chosen.
The top prize this month of £250 went to Nicola Pickard who ingeniously created a chalkboard wine rack using MDF and cut down drainpipe. A brilliant solution to filling in a space between some Ikea cabinets and the wall, Nicola used Rust-Oleum Chalkboard Paint in black and Rust-Oleum Direct to Plastic spray paint for the drainpipes. This is a great way of displaying and organizing bottles and creates a real feature in the room.

The end result is stunning and the piano is unrecognisable from its former self.

The stripes are a great and simple addition and give the drawers a very high-end designer look.

The addition of the silver hinges and handles really completes the look and feel of this piece. A stunning transformation.
