We spray-painted a selection of glass bottles and a plate with metallic sprays and dressed with flowers and candles to produce rustic feel.
Give it a go yourself with our step-by-step guide…

– Rust-Oleum Metallic in Copper
– A selection of glass bottles/jars
– A large plate
– Flowers/candles to dress
Move the object(s) to be painted to a well-ventilated area and place on top of newspaper or a dust sheet. Protect the surrounding area with additional dust sheets or newspaper.
Ensure surfaces to be painted are clean and dry, and mask off any areas you do not wish to be painted.
Using your selected colour, hold the can approximately 30cm from the surface of the object(s) and spray in a steady back and forth motion, slightly overlapping with each stroke. For best results, whilst spraying ensure the can remains the same distance from the surface and keep the can in motion. Apply several light coats a few minutes apart.
Once dry, arrange the bottles upon the plate and dress the flowers and candles.
