How to: Halloween pumpkins

What you will need
- Rust-Oleum Chalky Finish Furniture Spray Paint
- Rust-Oleum Chalky Finish Furniture Paint (125ml)
- Rust-Oleum Glitter Ultra Shimmer Paint
- Paint brushes
- Clean cloth
- Paint stirrer
- Pumpkins
Steps
Remove any dust or dirt from your pumpkins by cleaning them with a cloth and some warm water. Make sure your pumpkins are dry before applying the paint.
Using a small brush, paint the top half of your pumpkin with Rust-Oleum Chalky Finish Furniture Paint; we chose Duck Egg blue for a cheery pop of colour.
Our Chalky Finish Furniture Paint is perfect for all kinds of craft projects, as the water-based paint is low-odour and adheres to a multitude of surfaces. Put your pumpkin to one side and allow to dry.
Place your second pumpkin on a sheet of newspaper and spray with Rust-Oleum Chalky Finish Spray Paint, making sure to do so in a well-ventilated area. Create an ombre effect by lightly misting the bottom half. We chose China Rose for added chic.
Once all your pumpkins have dried, add the shimmering finishing touch with our Rust-Oleum Glitter Ultra Shimmer Paint. Simply apply the glitter in Gold, Silver or Rose for a spellbinding effect. Add glitter frosting for a distressed look or, to really get into the Halloween spirit, decorate with spooky moons and sparkling stars.
