The promoter of the “Show Us Your Stuff” competition (“the competition”) is Tor Coatings Limited, Portobello Industrial Estate, Birtley, Co. Durham, DH3 2RE .

Your Rights
Entrants must be the sole copyright owner of all photos they enter into the competition. Entrants warrant that their entry does not infringe the intellectual property rights of any other person. Entrants will retain all rights to any photograph submitted – including ownership if applicable. However, by submitting an image, entrants grant Tor Coatings a nonexclusive right to:

– Reproduce the image for any purpose in connection with the competition at any time in any media
– Use an entrants name in connection with the competition at any time in any media
– Keep the files provided, and to archive the images on CD or in other electronic forms.

As conditions of this permission, Tor Coatings shall credit all photographs with the caption “© Person’s Name” when the full name is available.

All entrants consent to the use of their name and/or photograph in any publicity carried out by Tor Coatings, without further compensation

All data collected at this website will be stored on a database and such data will only be used for the purposes of the activities of Tor Coatings. Email addresses may be used by Tor Coatings for marketing, unless entrants opt out. (Entrants wishing to opt out should do this by ticking the relevant box on the entry form).

Legal Conditions
Other than death or personal injury arising from the acts or omissions of the Promoter or its employees, no responsibility is taken by the Promoter for entries which are lost, delayed, misdirected, damaged or incomplete for any technical or other reason.

The Promoter reserves the right to cancel, modify or supersede the competition at any time if, in its sole discretion, a Competition is not capable of being conducted as specified.

The Competition shall in all respects be governed by and construed in accordance with English Law and the parties hereby submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the English courts.

The Promoter reserves the right to substitute a prize of similar value in the event that circumstances beyond their control make this unavoidable.

Tor Coatings is not responsible for any incorrect or inaccurate information, or by any technical or human error that may occur in the processing of submissions to the photo competition, including but not limited to any misprints or typographical errors.

Tor Coatings assumes no responsibility for any error, omission, interruption, deletion, defect, delay in operation or transmission, communications line failure, theft or destruction or unauthorized access to, or alteration of, entries.

Tor Coatings is not responsible for any problems or technical malfunction of any telephone network or lines, computer equipment, servers, providers, computer on-line systems, software, or failure of email on account of technical problems or traffic congestion on the Internet or at any web site, including injury or damage to participant’s or to any other person’s computer related to or resulting from participating or uploading images or information in the photo contest.

If, for any reason, the photo competition is not capable of completion as planned, including but not limited to, any reason of infection by computer virus, bugs, tampering, unauthorized intervention, fraud, technical failures or any other causes beyond the control of Tor Coatings that corrupt or affect the administration, security, fairness, integrity or proper conduct of the photo competition, Tor Coatings reserves the right at its sole discretion to cancel, terminate, modify or suspend the photo competition.

In addition Tor Coatings reserve the right to withhold prizes if, in the opinion of the judges, the quality of entries falls below the standard required.
