Add inventive Scandi style to your festive scheme with this easy Christmas DIY by Juliet Bawden. This personalised geometric wreath looks beautiful and is endlessly adaptable too, simply change the foliage and colour as often as you like with Rust-Oleum’s range of Christmassy hues and sparkling metallics.
Gather your chosen foliage and ensure it is completely dry before starting your project. Move the foliage to a well-ventilated space and place on top of a dustsheet or some old newspapers.
Take your chosen can of Rust-Oleum spray paint (we’ve chosen Rust-Oleum Metallic in Bright Copper) and shake thoroughly. Hold the can approximately 30cm from the surface of the foliage and spray. Apply several light coats a few minutes apart. Leave to dry in a well ventilated place.
Once fully dry, attach your foliage to the wreath using craft wire, layering the leaves until you are happy with your design.
