HOW TO PAINT A FRIDGE WITH RUST-OLEUM

You’ll never have to see a boring white door again!

What you will need

  • Rust-Oleum Mode Primer
  • Rust-Oleum Mode – Celeste
  • Rust-Oleum Painter’s Touch
  • Masking Tape
  • Sand Paper
  • Microfibre cloth

Steps

  1. CLEAN & PRIME

Ensure surfaces to be painted are free from wax, oil and grease. Mask off any areas of the object not to be painted. Protect the surrounding area with additional dust sheets or newspaper. Prime with Rust-Oleum Mode Primer to ensure paint adhesion.

  2. COLOUR

Next, take your can of Rust-Oleum Mode Spray Paint and shake thoroughly. Hold the can approximately 25cm from the surface of the object and spray in a steady side to side motion.

Apply two coats of paint allowing a minimum of 15 minutes between coats. Leave them for around 60 minutes after the last coat is applied to ensure they are dry before handling.

Rust-Oleum Mode is premium quality designer spray paint with an outstanding ultra high gloss finish. It delivers a factory like enamel finish. For indoor items – wood, MDF, melamine, rigid plastic, metal and more.

  3. CORRECTIONS

If you make a mistake or have dripping or bubbling, don’t panic; you can correct just about any error with sandpaper. Simply wait until the paint is dry (allow around 60 minutes) and sand these back, then reapply the top coat.

  4. DECORATE

If a colour pop isn’t jazzy enough, paint on additional detail in whatever design you like. This cloud design was created with a DIY stencil.
