As everyone knows, a wedding can be expensive but, by taking the time to consider some simple DIY décor solutions, you could really begin to save the pennies (and create something really unique).

One of the easiest places to start is with DIY centerpieces. They can be uniform or each one can be totally unique and united by the the chosen colour scheme.

We created our first centerpiece (above) by styling a serving dish with an array of candles, jars and bottles sprayed with Rust-Oleum Metallic Spray Paint for a vintage-themed centerpiece.

We chose several shades of Rust-Oleum Metallic Spray Paint in Copper, Gold and Bright Gold to create a collective feel with added depth.

For the centerpiece below we used a similar method but added long branches and twigs sprayed with Rust-Oleum Painter’s Touch in Ivory Bisque.

Once you’re happy with the paint job, adorn each centerpiece with jewels, trinkets and wildflowers or place them inside sprayed bottles for a truly unique setting.
