Our Project Inspiration series reveals easy objects you can undertake in just one weekend or less! This week we’re showing you how a few old teapots can be transformed into an ornamental tea try with spray paint.

We sourced the small teapots (above) from a few different charity shops and took them home to get creative!

We wanted to create something a striking and unique so opted for an ornamental tea tray.

Choosing a striking and glamorous colour, was important as we wanted the piece to stand out. We used Rust-Oleum Painter’s Touch in Black (Gloss) for each item.

With the addition of a few decorative butterfly accessories, our charity shop finds look a great deal more expensive than the few pounds we paid for them.
