Thank you to all who entered our Make It Yours competition in September. It was a tough month for judging with a multitude of inspirational upcycles and transformation projects to choose from. However, with much deliberation we have chosen 10 runners up and our lucky top prizewinner.
The top prize this month of £250 went to Harriette Sibley who bought an old home bar from eBay and with the help of Rust-Oleum Chalky Finish Furniture Paint in Anthracite, the bar was completely transformed. Harriette added a luxurious feel to the railings of the bar using Rust-Oleum Metallic Finish Furniture Paint in Gold. We love it!
Chelsey Bowen created a cute masterpiece by upcycling a wooden trolley that needed some TLC. For this project Chelsey mixed Rust-Oleum Chalky Finish Furniture Paint in Dusky Pink and Chalk White for the pink tray surround, Chalk White for the tray bottom and Graphite for the hand painted polka dot effect. To add the Midas touch, Chelsey also used Rust-Oleum Universal All-Surface Spray Paint in Pure Gold for the wooden legs. Great job!
