JULY 2019 COMPETITION WINNERS

Thank you to all who entered our Make it Yours competition in July. It was a tough month for judging with so many inspirational upcycles and transformation projects to choose from. However, with much deliberation, we have chosen the 10 runners up and our lucky top prize winner.

The top prize this month of £250 went to Elizabeth who designed this amazing table and her very talented dad made it! Elizabeth painted the legs with Rust-Oleum Neon, Pink to add a fab colour pop!

Gosia gave an old sideboard an art deco makeover with Rust-Oleum Universal All-Surface Paint in Matt Black and Rust-Oleum Metallic Gold. We love this glam transformation!

Sinead used Rust-Oleum Chalky Finish Furniture Paint in Chalk White to completely change the look and feel of her dated pine chest of drawers. She then changed fabric on the drawer fronts and the makeover was complete.

Jade bought these lockers for just £1 at a charity shop and gave them a new lease of life with Rust-Oleum Satin Finish Furniture Paint in Carbon. Amazing!

Lisa added a marvellous metallic accent to the dado rail in her living room using Rust-Oleum Metallic Finish Furniture Paint in Gold. Very glamourous!

Lorna bought this nest of tables for just £9 from a charity shop and transformed them with the help Rust-Oleum Chalky Finish Furniture Paint in Winter Grey, Duck Egg and Strawberry Vanilla, with a protective coating of Rust-Oleum Furniture Finishing Wax, Clear.

Zoe lovingly restored a metal trunk that belonged to her great grandfather. She began by sanding back the chipped paint and then used Rust-Oleum Universal All-Surface Paint in Matt Black to complete the look.

Catherine freshened up an old toy storage unit by removing the casters and adding a coat of Rust-Oleum Satin Finish Furniture Paint in Blue Sky.

Kirsty used Rust-Oleum Chalky Finish Furniture Paint in Ink Blue to completely transform this mid-century dressing table and then added a protective coating of Rust-Oleum Furniture Finishing Wax, Clear. Kirsty used Rust-Oleum Metallic Bright Gold to freshen the hardware too!

Millie painted this dark sideboard with Rust-Oleum Chalky Finish Furniture Paint in Ink Blue with a protective coat of Rust-Oleum Furniture Finishing Wax, Clear. Millie also sanded back the top of the unit and added new handles to complete the look.
