In this simple DIY we show you how to create customisable chalkboard labels for kitchen storage with Rust-Oleum Chalkboard spray paint.
Rust-Oleum Chalkboard Paint creates a tough and scratch resistant writeable/wipeable chalkboard surface on a wide range of substrates, including glass.
Adding personal touches to storage solutions is guaranteed to spark joy in your kitchen by making ordinary objects both beautiful, functional and bang on trend.
Using masking tape, mark out the shape for your chalkboard labels, covering any area you do not wish to paint.
Move the jars to a well-ventilated space and place on top of a large dust sheet or some old newspapers. You may want to cover the surrounding area with additional dust sheets / newspaper to protect from spray mist.
Holding the can approximately 30cm away from the jars. Apply up to two coats of Rust-Oleum Chalkboard spray paint. Allow each coat to fully dry before applying the next.
Once fully dry, remove the masking tape and label away!
